What should a BEAST buy first?+
Start with whey protein and creatine — the two most evidence-backed supplements for hypertrophy, with the best cost-effectiveness. Add multivitamin and fish oil as insurance against nutritional gaps.
How do I fuel 4–5 sessions a week?+
Target 1.6–2.0g protein per kg bodyweight per day (per Morton 2018). Take whey within 30 min of training, creatine 3–5g daily. If recovery stalls, add magnesium and fish oil for inflammation control.
Creatine seems to upset my stomach. Should I adjust?+
Loading at 20+g/day triggers diarrhoea. Skip loading — 5g/day for 4 weeks fills stores just as well. Take it with food rather than on an empty stomach.
How long before I notice results?+
Most feel increased muscular endurance from creatine in 2–4 weeks. Visible hypertrophy shows at 8–12 weeks, assuming 3+ resistance sessions a week and adequate protein. Consistency wins.
